We’re not captive to any one or two companies, so we’re not working to increase their bottom line. We’re looking for companies that will treat you well so that everyone wins. Our services cost you nothing and you’ll pay no more buying an insurance product through us versus directly from an insurance company. If you go directly to one company or to a seminar, you will only get information from them about their products. Some of our clients say they want a plan that a friend, relative, or neighbor has. Your needs may be different than theirs.
There are a number of insurance companies that provide seminars where you will be treated to a few snacks and meet a bevy of company paid people promoting their products. Did you ever think about the cost and effort put into these events?
Observe that you will never hear about any competing products, or for that matter, no mention is ever made about Medicare Supplements.
You will however hear about the merits of their particular products. That doesn't mean that their products are the best "fit" for you. Following this path does in fact, limit your options.

Los & Associates was cofounded in 1995 By husband and wife Bernie and Karen Los with the belief that you should educate people about the choices they have to provide the coverage they need and want, and to treat our clients fairly with dignity and respect. Unfortunately, in 2022 Bernie passed away and in 2024 Karen. Both were loved both by their clients and everyone that he came in contact with them.

Eric initially began as a client of Bernie when marketplace insurance became available in 2010 and quickly built a friendly relationship with Bernie when Eric was a machinist. A workplace injury and multiple surgeries necessitated a career change and Eric spoke with Bernie about learning insurance.He passed the state exam on his first try and was hand taught personally by Bernie. Bernie always liked to say that he and Eric were kindred spirits, sharing the same sense of humor, ethics, and beliefs. Bernie was more than just a friend to Eric, he was like a second father.
When Bernie started having health issues he met with Eric to ask if he would be interested in taking over the agency, as he knew that Eric would continue to treat all of his clients who became his friends over the years the exact same way as he himself would. Eric shares Bernie's belief that it is unethical to hard sell people, instead it is his duty to inform and educate people of their options, and allow them to come to the conclusion that best fits their needs.
